My great uncle keeps buying shrimp from some Vietnamese peeps he knows in Port Arthur and giving them to my Mom. She has over twenty pounds of nice sized shrimp put up in the freezer now nom nom nom

Any of you Houston area guys get in on the Boyd’s sale last weekend? 9-12 head on for $3 a pound. I got 50 pounds. Gave some away, cooked some Sunday evening and froze the rest after heading. Put up about 20 pounds of tails.

I used to buy mine from the Vietnamese folks that used to have their boats right outside of Sabine Pass. They were always fresh and a good price.
