I just swtiched to Tmobile because Verizon was sucking so hard.
Tmobile sucks harder than verizon ever thought about sucking.
Cricket is the next option .

The service areas sucks or your interaction with T-Mobile sucks? When I first switched lots of areas that didn’t have a great signal, but it has got better and better every year.Originally posted by El Gato View Post

Coverage was the reason I stuck with them so long. Got At&T in the sticks out west better than any other provider. I would guess everyone has improved over time. I have an AT&T hotspot for work so I guess i can just drive around with that thing and then if my cell coverage is shaky just get on the wifi if AT&T has coverage.
So i'm hearing there's no great option but chk out tmobile? I think i will keep it thru the month and switch by halloween. We have south dakota and montana and i know AT&T has good coverage in the middle of nowhere, where we are headed tomorrow.

I’ve about given up on Verizon for my company phone and just use my personal ATT for everything. I travel all over the country and there have only one or two times where the Verizon phone worked and the ATT phone didn’t. Dozens and dozens of times the other way around though. Hell, our company phones don’t even work in our own office building.

Once I pass the air strip house going west or the big jetty going east around POC there was no signal with Verizon. Haven't been back that way since the switchOriginally posted by El Gato View PostI'm sitting at my desk right now and my Tmobile is showing 1 bar of LTE
on the south side of the damn bay last weekend I had 5 bars of 5g
Go figure.

I've wanted to ax verizon for a long time, but with the duck lease in arky, it's not an option. at&t works poorly there, but I have great signal with verizon. dish was down when i was there a couple weeks ago and none of the old farts could figure out how to get the tv to work (no internet/wifi in the kitchen/barndo area, only in the main lodge). I told them to turn on their hotspot and they all said they don't have enough signal for that......they all have at&t. So I turned mine on and we were able to watch college football again. That's reason enough for me to keep verizon for the time being. Not to mention, being about to do work, make client calls and get on my laptop when I'm up there on weekdays.Originally posted by bearintex View PostI’ve about given up on Verizon for my company phone and just use my personal ATT for everything. I went to AT&T because of Being out west as you describe. They haven't put the screws to my bill yet. They are basically the only game here and anywhere west of here if you want to use the phone. Coverage has gotten more and more sporty as of late.Originally posted by Doe Nob View PostCoverage was the reason I stuck with them so long. I had T-mobile when I moved from the metro mess years back. Worked like a champ until you got off of I-20
My Wife was from the Beaumont area and Verizon was to go to for service there.

At my house the Verizon phone barely works. Enough to call and text, but no data. ATT is a bit iffy lately there as well, but that is a tower issue they’ve been working on. After Beryl my cable internet (Sparklight) was out for 2 weeks, then up for a couple days then back down for almost 2 weeks. Wife works at home 2 days a week so the limited hotspot with the ATT tower issue didn’t cut it. Tried out the T Mobile 5G internet and it works like a champ. Even works at deer camp. I am seriously contemplating switching the phones to T Mobile when we are due.
