  • Sitka waders.....$600

If anyone has been considering buying some but didn't want to spend a grand, here you go. They're a year old model with the old boot style, but who cares. Doesn't impact the lifetime warranty.

So I can shove honey locust thorns in them two years later and theyll give me a new pair?

Hows sizing for fattys? I normally do a 10 stout. All the new hipster hunting wear seems to be made for skinny leg fags.

Hey, I'm a fat guy! But duck hunting once every 3 or 4 years I can't justify this purchase. There's a reason I enjoy dry field goose hunting.

There's 3 different color options at that price. I wear a 2xl in their waders. Fit pretty good when I was 300+. Fit great at 250.

Toledo, they'll take care of whatever the issue is. They typically repair, not replace. I've sent mine back twice, once for a leak (repaired and sent back with new boots), second time for an issue with boots coming apart on inside..... sent back with new boots.

Looks like the site is getting bogged down. Finally got ordered but it looks like a lot of the options wont let you add to cart.

                Thanks for the heads up!

                    Good post Lumpy.

For the rest of you, Sitka’s corporate position is they build their clothing in an athletic fit, the translation is the full figured hunter needs to buy one size larger than their ego suggests.
These waders are worth the retail price so $600 is a hell of a deal, get ya some.

So if you wear a 12 in shoe do you get 12 in those waders?
I usually have to get 11s

never had zippered waders but am contemplating

I wear 11 in both and I don't wear thick socks. I'd say they run pretty true to size.

                            Expect changes.

Vista Outdoor Operations acquired Simms. And if past performance is any indicator of future changes, the first they'll do is make cuts to customer service and warranty/repairs.

The next will be changes to the sales force structure. Move from commissioned reps > direct to dealer, and move to a distributor > to dealer model.

Seen it in the other brands they've acquired.
