  • Anyone have a discount/pro staff deal with heyday/lifetime?

Gonna start replacing old decoys and will likely go with heyday, but would love to save some money if possible.

You should be pro staff material!

I have 3 dozen, they are decent decoys. Overall the paint isn't any more durable than other decoys and not sure they are worth the money.

Close to what I'm looking for. At what price?

You obviously haven't priced lifetime decoys.

We have a bunch of LT Decoys that were gifted to us as part of a promo and in turn for us helping out the LT guys a few years ago on a hunt.
Honestly they are not my favorite, they tend to flop over a lot.
They look great in the wind, but when a dog runs passed them and 4 or 5 flop over, they can be a pain in the ass.
I would not recommend them having hunted them.

Knowing how high maintenance you can be, I would not buy 10 dozen of them, I would buy 2 dozen and use them first.

Have a couple dozen already and have had none of the issues you're referring to. I'm guessing you have all the weights pulled out of yours. Every decoy on the market will flip if the keel ain't weighted.

                        Weights in, don’t like’em, out.

You definitely have to place them rather than throw them if you go without weights! Haven't had the flipping issues you refer to, though. You talking teal decoys or big ducks?

Been running 3 dozen assorted LT's without weights.
Love'm. Sure have to flip a few over just tossing them but no issues with pup going through them. Great for walk in hunting ! Will buy more if needed. Waiting for gaddies to show.

I no longer hang out with anyone who has Proztaff/discount status. I will however make a deal on some half shot to pieces G&H. If you take the time to empty the shot rattling around in them, it would lighten them up considerably.
