I was searching a few weeks back for a new stew idea and ran across Cowboy Kent Rollins recipe. It was really, really good and was exactly what I had in mind. I'm making another batch today and figured I'd share. It freezes well too. Pic is printable recipe.

It's really good. I was searching "beef stew with red wine" when I found it. My Aunt used to cook a beef stew with red wine that was awesome and I wanted to do something similar. Don't know if it was this one because I was too young.
