  • Noise cancelling ear buds

Are you there any that really work, especially when on something really noisy? I use the headphones when on the tractor & they work well. But are really hot & can’t wear with a straw hat. Hoping you all may know a recommendations for ear buds. One of my top enjoyments these days are podcast & music while hours on a tractor.

I like my bose but they're not going to give you much if any hearing protection

I tried some cheap ones from Amazon for mowing. Lasted about three times. One of them died and I tossed them. Lesson learned. I will be watching this thread.

Ronnie, check out pro ears. I have a set of them for shooting. Dont know how they would work for constant loud noise. For the price they are the best I have found for shooting. I dont use the music hookups etc. The amplify talking and are very good for blocking gunfire.

Ear buds aren’t great for noise cancelling. Best is an over the ear muff type. I got some cheaper soundcore from Amazon and have been pleased with them for the price.

Buy a cabbed tractor. Way more comfortable than stuffing something in your ears!

They aren’t Bose. But they also weren’t $200.

Currently $359. Have had the Bose since 2006. On my 2nd set now and the only time that I've been unhappy is when I had to pay for them. They are spendy, and the only ones I've tried that are even close are the Sony's.
WONDERFUL on flights, and I find I am less weary after flights. A tremendous when traveling halfway around the world. With the noise cancellation and some good tunes I disappear. They can be overpowered by running machinery or other really loud noises.

I have some golrex I use on the tractor and ztr. They aren't noise canceling but they manage to drown out a 30hp engine in my back pocket

Cab Tractors are pretty damn loud as well, given not as much as open.

Worked like a charm on a long flight. Unfortunately, the lunesta didn't.
