Damn, that sounds like it was over as soon as it started! Congrats on a fine animal!

                  Awesome!

How was the country? The people? Customs? Airport travel with firearms?

                  You fly into Deer Lake?

Ive been researching an eider hunt in New Foundland.

Freight for the delivery is ~ $500, antlers add $100

Friend of mine in FL had the same kind of deal for the moose he shot in Alaska. Trucking company scheduled stops all across the US, hunters met the truck at the closest stop near their home. He only had to drive 150 miles. Didn't say what the cost was.

Lol, Toby is very eclectic and an awesome cat to hang out with, his story from where he was to where he is, is very spiritual.

How was the country? It was Canada, enough said.
The people? Alot like Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Customs? Biggest pain is deplaning in Montreal and retrieving all my gear then going through customs then rechecking everything back in through their "TSA". Finding and english speaking person in Montreal took a little work.
Airport travel with firearms? Yes, it really isn't that big of a deal
