  • New Grill

My Yoder shit the bed after 9 years.

Thinking about going back to a small Weber propane. 9 out of 10 times when I am grilling it’s rushed after work.

I will have to figure something out for smoking.

    Dumb move or decent plan?

It’s ok you don’t need their approval just buy what your wife tells you to buy.

        pretty much this.

I use a pellet grill almost 90% of the time. Mainly because it's easy and I don't give a fork what the resident Aaron Franklin wanna be's think about it.

But I also have a nice propane grill for fast shit.

Going to add an off set because I want one and it will probably get used about 2 times a year.

Get the wife or kids to start the pellet grill if in a rush…that’s what I do.

Does you no good but a guy moving has a bad ass offset maybe by lonestar for sale down here.

On topic, I'm the opposite. My pellet hasn't been used since Christmas. Mostly cause it's at the other house. I have even embers from TSC that's been good. Next time I may buy weber. I'm of the thought of need both

My Traeger will allow me to adjust and shutdown with WiFi, but for safety reasons not start it.

This. Seriously, Blackstone is my weapon of choice for fast meals. Very handy.

Offset for me. Can make great meals on many different grills, but you just can't beat real wood fire for best flavor. It does take a lot of practice to get good at fire management and a little more time to get its ready to cook. I enjoy the process a lot, time spent tending fire is QUALITY time.

I don’t have one, but I feel like the BGE is the closest to a do it all (and do it all best) outdoor cooking apparatus.

Honestly, I use my grills for cooking in the summer because it's hotter than two rats f'n in a wool sock in Texas

I use a Cook Shack electric. It does all I want BBQ wise.. I have a small charcoal grill in the back for steaks. I just like the wood fired flavor on my steaks.
