There's at least one brand that will or at least is smart enough to have a geo fence or something.

We grill a lot in the summer cause same reason gato said. 2 ass kitchen got hot as hell.

Offset for me. Can make great meals on many different grills, but you just can't beat real wood fire for best flavor. It does take a lot of practice to get good at fire management and a little more time to get its ready to cook. I enjoy the process a lot, time spent tending fire is QUALITY time.
I use the blackstone more than anything but I don’t use it for steak, pork or chicken.

I like to do first stage of reverse sear on pellet smoker and then use black stone to wrap it up.

I have a rectec pellet grill for long slow cooks or if i just want to heat up some boudin or sausage real quick. Weber kettle charcoal grill for steaks, whole chickens and ribs. I only use B&B charcoal nowadays. Not a fan of gas grills. Just dont have the flavor to me. When i do burgers, they go on the blackstone.

My wife bought the XL 1400 a while back. It gets used constantly. I use it a bit for 2 big fish fry. Throw done fish in der in an aluminum pan while on 200. Keeps them all warm until ready to eat.

Burgers or steaks get smoked and then finished on the blackstone.

100% this or any kamado, BUT there's nothing fast about them.
