  • Type 2/ APH lands

I just purchased a type 2/ aph permit. I have had very few of these in last 20 years and only use for specific known bodies of water. Used to be they sent a man a book with applicable lands and maps. Have never bothered with such since it's inception as it was all local to me stuff. Angelo/Denton. I am planning on a couple weeks near my boy in Lufkin/Nac area this year. Are these books still distributed or is there an online source that shows all that the permit covers???
    Appreciate any input,
    Colby

Hoping for more than educated guesses at watching sunrises

This is nice, because I can look at all the local stuff and realize it's the same old shitty parcels before I drop 48 bucks. I have killed truck loads of waterfowl off of some that are no longer enrolled. If they were, I'd still buy it.

Check to see if you need to download the AP and log yourself in and out of the property

I can get my account to show up and work on my truck's screen. Getting shot down for permission will be easier than ever.

Man, I haven’t heard Type II referenced in a long time. That’s what I still call it too.

It has turned into typical TPWD, how can we bleed the most out of you and give/provide the least back. Fug’em.

There is a little patch called the Tony Houseman or Blue Elbow Swamp WMA about five minutes fromy house. It's not great but it's good enough for me to get two or three hours in chasing squirrels and wood ducks if they get in there.

For me. It's worth $30 to be able to just pop into the woods really quick and not have to put much effort into it.
