Same thing as last season. The piece of water I've had my eyes on all summer is now a mudflat. Should be baked dry by this weekend. Looks like the forecast is calling for near 100 on the opener. I guess there's always hope for next year.

We've had em passing through since the full moon in August. They never stay more than a day as there isn't much groceries for them baby bootlipped bastards.
Scouting them is futile hera. I need at least sack deep water to soak my chigger bites.

Still have plenty in the North. Killed BWT and honkers this a.m. It was 48F when I stepped out of the truck. Hello Fall!

The amount of resident Canadas around is almost stupid. Fishing is also on fire.

Had to light the stove this morning for the wife before I left.

No. We are covered up in residents and have been in and out in an hour.

Then we grab wives and go fishing.

Take nap and hunt yogi. Not enough hours in da day right now.

They are very concentrated here. Lots of clubs are just now getting water out.

My prediction for Saturday is 60 in about 10 minutes.

I'll be at the home in Tx unless I cave in to wife in Nov.
