Full-ride fishing scholarship's do not exist, congrats on your nephew getting some college aid to fish/receive a secondary education. Blake Albertson in the video attached won the National College Fishing Championship with Adam and only received 20% scholarship money, fished with the kid and his late dad (guy in the red shirt at the beginning of video) since he was three when living in Indiana. It's been my experience that is how most scholarship experiences go. The school sort of dibs and dabs from different pots to get the kids there. Also, there are scholarships available to students after they have been enrolled a while and demonstrate some proficiency. That is what my kid did, applied for as may of those sort of things. By the time she graduated the university was paying her to go to college.

Congratulations to him! Drury has a great reputation and does well. Fishing scholarships to private universities can be tricky. My son turned down a $60,000 or $80,000 scholarship to ETBU because when all was said and done his out of pocket was less to go to SFA and fish for them.

Been my experience with private skewl ‘scholarships’ as well.

That's how I read it also. But she's an idiot so there's that. Just saying

I mean my kid got a scholarship for the shooting team but since guns are bad it's wrote for academics. Oddly enough he has to keep a certain GPA but also has make a certain amount of shoots as well. Two states in the last week to keep up with it.

I know what comes out of my checking account to pay for an apartment etc but we don't have a 4 year old YouTube video to prove it so I must be tarded.
