I'm not going to say what or why or where now. I'll wait for it to be officially announced. I can say that he passed on Auburn University who gave him a pretty decent offer.
He plans to major in engineering. I don't know what sort. He will be on a fishing scholarship.

Full-ride fishing scholarship's do not exist, congrats on your nephew getting some college aid to fish/receive a secondary education. Blake Albertson in the video attached won the National College Fishing Championship with Adam and only received 20% scholarship money, fished with the kid and his late dad (guy in the red shirt at the beginning of video) since he was three when living in Indiana. Just saying..

The college is in the same town where the head quarters of a shop that started selling bass fishing supplies to pros is located.

Apparently the fishing coach there, that recruited Jakey was the sponsorshuo coordinator for the company for more than 20 years. Jakey wants to work in the outdoor industry and thinks the coaches' contacts in that area will be helpful for him.
