So a few warm up air strikes against Syria now.
Then the indications are that the Eisenhower carrier strike group won't join the Ford carrier strike group and the HMS Queen Elizabeth carrier strike group in the Mediterranean but rather will go into the Persian Gulf where it will pass within 20 miles the Iran coast while entering the Strait of Hormuz Hopefully this will be reconsidered.
This really bothers me that we would have capital ships pretty much hemmed up in a relatively small body of water and so close to Iran. There's no good reason to be that close and my biggest concern is fighting off swarms...hundreds, even thousands... of various missiles including anti-ship missiles, drones, cruise missiles and some nasty black market nuclear missiles bought from Russia, reportedly without the nuclear warheads.
