Things took a turn for the worse yesterday with cancer.

From his Facebook:

“This is a post I hoped to never make but I guess God has higher plans. You never die of cancer you go from the complications in this case congestive heart failure Im here at the hospital but don't come see me im frail and just a shadow of myself. There will be no services I am donating my remains UCI. I love all of you and hope you will remember me in a kind way.”

I have met 2 people from this forum in person and Bon was one of them. I reached out to him for a place to eat in Vegas and he was working at the place on the top of the stratosphere and he happened to be working that night. He was a really nice kind person.

Sad to hear this. Keeping him in our prayers. We have two very close friends fighting the good fight right now. One is my wife's good friend and not expected to last another two weeks. I suppose when you reach my age, this is almost a daily thing to lose friends.
