Not sure how Lamar is now but in the past they have had good programs. Beating A&M would not be a surprise. Several MLB players came from Lamar. Kevin Millar says high.

The young man seated closest, Jack Dallas, pitched for LU. He's now in the minors with the Blue Jays.

His brother, Chad, was the pitching dude with Tennessee... he's pitching in the minors with another MLB team.

Jack played at LU with J.C. Correa, Carlos Correa's brother.

Not surprising in the least. There is more parity in college baseball than any other sport. Look at Tennesse getting dominated by Grand Canyon last weekend. It happens a lot.
