Talking about things I thought I would never see again, Monroe elected a white male mayor last year, although he ran as an Independent.

Three former black mayors did not like Greg Tarver and rallied behind Arceneaux. Probably a one time event; regardless, I hope they can do something good. Low AF turnout, too.
