  • Same buck?

First pic is from 2021 and second is from this morning. The double beam type look is a very unique characteristic. The problem here is that it switched from the left side to the right side, if it’s the same deer. Brow tine on the right looks the same as well. Thoughts?

His antlers look like they are made of solid gold in that top pic.

As far as if it is the same deer, I don't know. They all look alike.

Sun was coming up just right then. You can see it on his body.

I'm gonna say different deer similar genetics. Top deer body looks like an older animal to me?

I don't think it's the same deer, but the first one need to be culled. The second may but I can't see his body well enough to determine age

I think different deer. I’m not aware of them swapping sides like that concerning antler growth.

But I bet they have the same daddy

It is not uncommon with drop tines, but I haven't seen a double beam like that do it.

Tail coloration is something that you might want to look at. There is more variation there than people think.

My bet is that it is different bucks.
