Speckled trout worms....

Just getting ready to cook some fish and saw some white spots on the meat...
Got to digging them out and it looks like a worm ..
I've heard about worms in trout but never had any before..
Is it because they're marsh fish vs surf fish? I got them out with a knife not all the fish have them. Do I throw away or are they ok ..
It's pretty fkn nasty to think I'll be eating these but no harm no foul..?. And definitely not saying anything to anyone about them if do cook them.

Short answer is they wont hurt you as long as you cook it thoroughly. Long answer is I dont eat fish with obvious parasites.
