I have a fund raising sporting clays shoot coming up in a couple of weeks and I thought I might need to polish up a bit before hand. I went to the local gun club and got squaded with 4 young punks. 1st off, they started in on me about how old I was and then started making fun of my gun because it had short barrels. Well hells bells, when I bought that gun, short barrels were in vogue, 40 years ago. All through the course, there were cat calls when I was on station and cheers when I missed a target. I kept my tongue but I can only imagine how their lives will turn out.

my 26 inch bbls look so short next to guys shooting 30 and 32 inch bbls...their behavior is inexcusable, I was taught well when it came to etiquette and manners at the skeet range, I see it at the golf course too, these punks have no manners, they dont open doors, or give a lady their seat or say yes sir or yes ma'am...

Headed to shoot with a customer this afternoon for the same reason. We are shooting in a Clays for Kids in a week.

There is a time and place for everything. My boys are respectful yet will ride an adult like one of the boys under the right circumstances.
