I’m pretty sure that I heard on the Big Honker podcast that former major leaguer and pride of Jefferson County Texas Jay Bruce bought Sure Shot Game Calls and was reviving their line of calls.

Without looking I couldn't tell you what ducks and goose calls are on my lanyard. You can pay whatever but it ain't the call.

        And I'm average.

My college roommate’s granddiddy used to hunt a bunch with Cowboy, mainly in the marshes that are now the WMA outside of Pt Arthur.

He said Cowboy was able to hide behind a single strand off cane in that marsh. Many a stories of the good ‘ole days for hunting and full straps of the non-smiling type of green.

I could sit for hours and listen to that man talk about all the places he hunted. RIP Mr. Vincent. I have a few Yentzen’s including a older one he gave me MANY years ago.

Agree....calls made for dummies who can't blow a single reed.

That's gospel truth. I want to crawl to the other end of the blind and hide if somebody breaks one of those out.

That's when you have to implement the selective skill called calling over someone.

Yeah. One of the guys that used to hunt with us had one. We asked him nicely to stop using it.

Same here with the exception of my old sure shot whistle. Its just a whistle with a wood body. Had it since I was a kid And an Ann River cackler call. Buddy gave it to me. The rest are this or that. Assortment of shit that all stop up with copious amounts of copenhagen

With the right hand on a yentzen it will kill. I done it. Not everyone needs a fkn acrylic rnt cutdown olt single reed gd call - a few of us have actual talent.
