  • MX dove reccs?

I got a hankering to shoot some birds this fall. Doves got waxed by the big freeze and have yet to recover in all the local spots that used to produce.

Looking for a quick 2 day shoot that we can drive to without the hassle of a big flight. Who you been with across the border and who do you reccommend?

Just curious, why across the border? We’ve had great hunts just outside of Abilene. Trent to be exact the last several years..

because a 15 bird limit doesn't take very long to fill if the shooting is any good.

We have a mutual friend who said the limit is whatever you can afford Dove hunting in Texas has failed to get me going since my first SA trip.

Figured that was why. I get it. Just curious, if hunting in Mexico, do the birds you shoot come home with you?

Home of the Gorillas. And good dove shoots. I hope this season is better than last.

Actually we hammered birds last year. Opening morning started of slow. But that evening and next two days were incredible. But the OP is right, 15 birds is easy in good spot. But if he isn’t bringing birds home to eat, then I highly recommend a pigeon shoot.
