Need to replace the stock Maxxis tires on the Pioneer.

Looking hard at some Bighorn 2.0.

Needs something that handles mud, but not overly aggressive (shitty ride). Stock has worked just fine for the last 5 years.

Other suggestions? Noticed there are ‘knockoff’ Bighorn, like Sun-F at considerably less. Worth the savings or junk?

    Let the circus commence.

I bought some of the Maxxis wanna be's from Amazon for my last Ranger. Throw some Multi Seal in them and they were fine. I had them about 2 years before I got rid of that machine. Will do the same for the Can Am whenever I need them.

I run ITP mud lites on my Honda Foreman and Yama Rhino. They do good in the mud and on hard pack. Ride seems the same as stock tires on both. I run an industrial self sealer in them as we have lots of mesquite and locust. The sealer is the same as they use in large wheel loaders. The last set I bought off FleaBay.

Not sure you understand SE Texas gumbo clay.

                That's adorable.

13,000 acres of Sabine River bottom in Newton County says otherwise. That's in SE Tex, BTW.

A 6 ply Bighorn 2.0 is a hardpack, intermediate, or sand tire.

                But you do you.

Idk....I ran a ranger with big horns for 4 days in Colorado snow then the associated mud to follow the melt without issue

Unfortunately, Frontline doesn’t have one that fits my ride……

I am actually moving away from the Bighorns and moving more toward a factory lug design like I already had. They worked surprisingly well. I could see the the Frontlines lug/ball up just like the Bighorns. Not enough of an open design.

I really liked the Frontline ACP, more of a true mud tire. But I ride about 10 miles on paved FM and gravel County roads to get to the lease, so I needed something with better road manners and longer tread life.

I rode with a group and 1 of the guys was running the BDC's. I was skeptical, but the extended lugs seem to clear out well.

So far I've been happy. 800 miles and no visible wear. Been able to get through alot of stuff that the others run on true mudders.

Before hunting season, I'll be on 4" portals at 15% and move up the 36" ACP's. Swap back to the BDC's for trail riding in the spring/summer.
