I ordered a 45 cal can last year in February. I used silencer central. Got all the paperwork and such done and forgot about it. Called them in early September, figured I had to be close. When I called to check they said they hadn't submitted the paperwork yet. Apparently the suppressor I picked wasn't in stock and it was back ordered. It would have been nice to know that at the time.

They were pretty good about working with me. They upgraded me to a Silencerco Hybrid 46. The guy said he could have done the snail mail or wait for the new online ordering system, it was suppose to be ready last year. They didn't get that submitted until early March. They said 30-60 days which would mean I have it. The gal just got back to me and she said its running closer to 90 days.

Hopefully I will have it before the youth hunting season in September.

Did the deal last Friday at a kiosk at Ables in Huntsville, filed with ATF on Monday, they Certified yesterday and told me 60 to 90 days.

Will update as warranted.

What are you going to put it on? I have a 450 bushmaster and a 350 legend.

338 lapua, and a 450. I don’t shoot iether much so a stand alone can didn’t make sense.

Have a 350 barrel, but I just haven’t got around to ordering everything else.

If your comes in faster I am at the point to just go buy another and hope. First can I bought took roughly 9 months.

I have heard of similar dealing with Silencer Central as you experienced………..they wouldn’t be my first choice………. Sucks to learn the hard way.

Silencer shop kiosk had me in and out in less than an hour, trust included. Coming up on 70 days wait time so far. Dealer said his have been running around 90 days for him recently
