Anybody except Sunrise Superman following the tournament at Lake Fork. They are pulling some big fish out of there. Today is the knock out round and someone already nailed a 10.1. I did not know LF was still producing big fish

Last March, they had a big bass tournament in which the guy that won it was a local Joe six pack, the dude literally hauled his jon boat in the back of his pick up to the lake.
He weighed in a 15+ on Sunday, won a truck, a boar, and $100K in cash and other prizes.
Everyone at the weigh in was extremely happy for this dude, you could just tell it was a life change experience for him.

In March 2020 I caught a 10.29 with much less fanfare, and the will be after them again on 3/20-3/22 this year.

Fork is still very nice during the week.

Miserable day to be on the lake! Pretty low too.

It ain't miserable until you've got to bust ice to get the boat out.

Ice covered concrete landings are no fun.

Looks like he made a late run at the Top spot in today's knock out round

Cole Floyd is the new wild card. His dad Steve accomplished local/regional angler from Ohio, good bloodlines plus Cole coming from the new college ranks of fishing to pro.. Great family.

He never went to his best spot in the 2nd round, and left them after catching the 8-15 early in the knockout. He gets to lean on em hard all day today. Alot of strategy needed in this multi day format with zeroed weights.

Dakota's is an interesting story. He was a really good high school baseball player, but realized his size would limit him in college. Moved to Sam Rayburn after he got his leg crushed in the chute riding bulls in college. Basically lived in his truck and fished local derbies. Until a good friend of mine and guide, Gene Williams, took him in.

He hit my radar when he started winning and finishing high in local events on a weekly basis, and had a 6 month old boat for sale with 670 hrs on it. Thats was only about 5 years ago.

Went to a few of our factories and got him help with product deals. He's still with them now, but these deals have now developed into dollar deals. I don't know of any pro angler who has come so far, so fast. Very centered, humble, Christian young man. We talk/text almost daily.

                            Yes he is.

Roommates on the road with Ebare. Those 2 sharing info has got to be scary for the older established guys.

Is there a live streaming link yall can share? I'm incompetent in finding anything. I found one with highlights of yesterday but can't find anything for today.

Nevermind, found it and see they delayed till tomorrow.
