It is interesting to study the background of some of these big box sporting goods stores. Where I live, there is an Academy Sports and a Dick's Sporting Goods. Dick's was here first. It opened with a nice gun area, archery room, ammo, and a fishing tackle area. I heard they later hired a woman CEO. She immediately got rid of all guns and ammo. I quit going there as a result. About 2 years later I needed some lures that I couldn't find, so I went in there. The sunsabiches had cleaned out ALL of their fishing gear. No poles, line, lures, nada. Nothing but workout shorts and sports bras. The cocky bitch CEO started running commercials bragging about no more guns and ammo.

The Academy store has fishing stuff, guns, and ammo. They never discontinued any of it. I did a little research on the 2 companies for comparison...

Fukkin shotgun shells are ridic. Bought 2 cases of 20 ga XPERTS for $170/case the other day.
