I feel this way about feral hogs and feral cats. Well, and housecats and pretty much any domestic cat.

It is unbelievable what has happened in MN & WI with the wolf populations going unchecked.

One set of cousins have a camp by Ely and another by Two Harbors, neither one has seen a deer in 2 yrs. Another 2 and I'll be in the same boat as they march west. Let's go Walz.

Not to hijack but the same can be said for bears in NE LA and SE AR.

Listening to one of the Meateater Podcasts that was talking about those wolf pops and the fact that the actual population is something like 10-15 times what the target was supposed to be but they can't get the Gov. to do anything.

The size of the wolves is also unnatural. They transplanted the big canadian wolves when the native wolves were 1/2-1/3 smaller. Makes a huge difference when it comes to prey size (elk vs deer vs Buffalo) and how successful they are.

Correct. Which leads to less prey available in the targeted area, which leads to the predators expanding their range into non-targeted areas. Right now, it's a fukn joke what is happening. Like PCK says, the mismanagement of our resources falls at the feet of the political hacks that know nothing about wildlife.
