  • First suppressors

Went to gun store this evening picked out my first basic suppressor and walked out the door with it. Nothing but a 4373 form (no check needed w/ LTC). Starting off with a Resilient Simple Man .30 cal. Need a few more but this will be a good start. Going to pick up a plan b hub adapter and 3 muzzle devices for now.

It’s fun to hear the bullet impact.

Subsonics are super quiet and a lot of fun, but don’t use them for critters you want to recover.

Everyone knows you're a crack shot with your super custom $10k 6.5 manbun, Freddie.

I listen for the thump and call it a dead pig. I’m playing with a 338 Arc SBR right now throwing 300gr ATips. LOTS of penetration even at subsonic velocity. I shot a 50# pig Saturday that entered just left of the right ear (basically head on shot). Exited out the opposite side hip sideways. These bullets tumble like crazy once they hit. Had another one that both the other guys hunting said was a miss since it sounded like a ricochet. Nope, it’s laying dead there. They sound like a buzz saw after exiting.

I guess now I am waiting on direction on how to transfer a suppressor from a Trust to individual ownership.

I want to pick another one soon. Both of my boys (10 and 15) have requested to deer hunt this year. Would be nice to hand one my 6.5 grendel, the other the 6.5 CM and have both suppressed.

                Allow me to mathlock

Lemme toll you, a 16" lever 357 mag umm is the funnest muffler gun to be had. Stuff that thing with 38spl and roll. I whacked a coyote out the back window at 60 yards last week and it sounds like a broom handle hitting a 5 gallon bucket

Think I'm sitting at 5 now. Pretty addictive

Ive been able to acquire a healthy amount of 38/357 ammo so I went that route. Bought a rossi triple black and put a rugged obsidian 9 on it. Finally found a threaded 9mm conversion barrel for an old glock 22 this week so see what its like

I have two of these. While it may not reduce noise as much as a caliber specific can you can run this on almost any gun.

Man the price has dropped on that thing. I paid almost double that for mine when I bought it.

How long ago did you get it? My one is 3 years old and I may have laid 100 more but not that much.
