Another nature story

Still seeing things I have never seen before. Was checking a pasture & saw 2 crows across a field. Very common. Then I saw one of them hop up and saw a small animal either chasing it or playing with. Got the binoculars out & it was a cottontail. It made several runs at this crow. I thought it was playing with it, which in itself would be interesting. But then the second crow flew over by them & grabbed something off the ground. It was a baby rabbit. So the rabbit was defending & trying to save the baby. I watched this battle for several minutes and the big rabbit finally made it to the trees & brush. I think the baby did to because I never saw the crows fly off with it even though they tried hard. Anyhow, something else in nature I had never seen or known would happen. Didn’t know crows would go after small animals and sure didn’t know the battle a rabbit would put up.

Oh, and the turkeys are putting on a show today too. Lots of strutting and gobbling going on.

Mom had a purple martin house, and the crows would pick the babies out of it and eat em

I'm going to start assuming that is what happens to any golf ball I can't find. Unless I hit it in the water. Then I will assume a turtle got it.

I am not ashamed to admit that I am not that good a golfer. The secret is to not get frustrated about it and just have fun. Which is exactly what I do. I don't care if I shoot 100. That just means I got to hit the ball more.

Crows would have been run off immediately or shot sooner if i had a gun. Hate those black bastids.

Crows about the same as pigs for me. If I have the 22 with me, they get shot.
