    To just keep my big mouth shut. Said something to my good neighbor and ended up playing lumber jack.

    Missing my father in law. He had a knack for sharpening saws. I struggle with it for some reason.

    I can ruin a chain in about 2 sharpening. It will cut like the dickens for those 2 sharpening though.

    Damned big mesquite is hard on them as Bois D arc. Glad I dont live in the mesquite forest anymore

      You moved up north of the Canadian? That's where the mesquite peters out, far as I can tell.

          Stihl makes a sharpener. Easy peasy, correct angle. I have one for my Stihl. Even Ray Charles could sharpen a chain with it.

                      Yep but Ray Charles was smart enough to turn off the chainsaw before sharpening. Matlock, not so smart.
