Well I guess sometimes it’s not all about the shooting and rather about the long walks in new territory. Finally scored my first 2 Blue’s at the end of the day. The point by Lacy was immaculate and they both went to work finding the 3 we knocked down and located all of em.

You ain't have to tell me, but it looks like the sandhills up around Canadian town.

Couple years ago I went on a quail hunt. We got behind a Covey of blues and the dude next to me hadn't shot many quail. They kept running and we kept chasing. He finally said...when they gonna flush?

Booom. I raked the whole mess of em and 2 or 3 flew.

                          There you go I said

Actually text book. Point. She locked up and birds were pinned between us and the dog. After covey was busted we jumped 3 from it, those were running in front of my Dad before they jumped.

Either way, 11 miles walked today and 1 covey is boo boo. We’ll see what happens the next 2 days.
