Sitting with my daughter tonight. My son is 200 yards down the ridge. We kicked a giant up to him walking in. Not sure if he was bedded here or cursing by as we were walking in.

Saw two does and two forks so far. Got an hour left.

Woods are on fire today. Seen 4 bucks already. A 150 twice pushing a doe. It pushed it between me and my kid but never close enough for him. I don’t have a buck tag so that kind of sucks

Sitting with my kid. It’s 60 degrees but it’s that time of the year so we went out. Pretty windy may have been a good duck day.

Had a doe getting chased by a buck run right to us. She sensed something and turned back. It was a decent 130 plus buck behind her. They skirted us at 60

Lots of horned up bucks in Oklahoma right now. Every doe I saw had a buck not far behind.

This morning was insane. Saw over 10 different bucks. At one point 6 bucks ran by chasing the same doe. At most they were 15 yards apart. Another one ran right by us to join the chase.

No shooters came close but it was a fun hunt. We are back out. My son is in the same tree we sat this morning I am 200 yards away with my daughter. She has a itchy trigger finger

We’re back in tonight too. Had a new deer show up last night that excited the little fella so had a sneaky suspicion we’d have to hunt today. Not ideal conditions at 72° but whatever. Enjoy listening to the mallards down on the lake too.

We have been out at our place since Friday evening…this weather cannot make up its mind, it’s clearly a female.
