I've been seeing a lot of chatter bout some dufus sheriff harassing da people and putting them in holding units down around crystal beach area. Wasting countless resources and tax dollars to write tickets. Any truth to this?

Probably the near 300 arrests made leading up to jeep weekend. 16 agencies,a registration check point at a stop light.

Every single video I saw loading said arrestees was typical clients. None of which appeared to be jeep owners. More like charger owners.

Think it was the first time in 3 years no one was shot on the beach. So I'd consider that a good use of resources

Arrested a double butt ton of class c stuff. The Go Topless Jeep Weekend has turned into a shit show. People get murdered every year, fights, vandalism. Residents wanted the Sheriff to put his foot down. He did.

Beaumont cop got arrested for basic traffic violations. Just like everybody else did.

Yep, 121 beach houses were donated to law enforcement.

I don't know exactly how they come up with the rules or how to enforce them. Like no stopping, standing or parking on the beach, but they did. The beach is designated Texas Highway 1 and traffic laws apply. The last two ro three years it has gone from stupid to really stupid.
