I used Talley Rings that screwed directly to the receiver rather than use the picatiny rail that comes on the gun.

Talley just came out with them and when I called they were very helpful.

The have "low, medium, high" and have specs on their web page.

I was concerned that the Vortex Diamondback 22 was really close between the low and high rings. The guy on the phone assured me that the low would be fine, and they are.

I have a 2-7 x for hunting. I would want and 18 to 25 magnification for target stuff.
