We’ve shot some mallards etc in the backwater at deer park lake but that’s been 15 yrs ago. Glasscock started cracking down on trespassing as well about that time. If you’re thinking jackson point or other river club I would imagine one could still kill a few when the river gets right. Too high a river around JP/ lake Mary presents access issues.

It’s a cool area, nothing like the MS River.
