If there was more of em, wouldn’t be so bad but when you’re finding one covey every 100 acres you hunt….es no bueno.

3 of the 4 coveys we found today did run though before flying. Either way, the hunting sucks. Still a fun trip! Can’t beat time with my Dad in the outdoors!

Found 5 coveys today and put 5 birds down. My Dad told me how much they like to run then fly and he wasn’t lying, damn they’re a wild bird.

Actually text book. Point. She locked up and birds were pinned between us and the dog. After covey was busted we jumped 3 from it, those were running in front of my Dad before they jumped.

Either way, 11 miles walked today and 1 covey is boo boo. We’ll see what happens the next 2 days.

I may or may not have gotten one so dirty that it took a couple shots in the azz and a handful of pills for 2 weeks to get the burn out. Alledgely. Totally worth it
